RAHI is a unique six‑week college prep program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks that helps rural and Alaska Native students explore higher education, earn college credits, and participate in enriching activities.
About the PositionAs an Overnight Safety Coordinator, you’ll be key to creating a safe, welcoming dorm environment for students living on campus. The role combines responsibility, mentorship, and community building to positively influence students’ futures.
Responsibilities- Ensure the safety of both students and staff.
- Conduct regular dorm patrols.
- Respond to emergencies as needed.
- Mentor students and support the development of a positive living environment.
- Resolve conflicts and foster community‑building activities.
- Provide reliable transportation to students when necessary.
- Driver’s license and a 3‑year clean driving record with no felony arrest or felony conviction.
- High school graduate or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Available to work on‑call and during night shifts (typically 9 pm–10 am).
- Strong sense of responsibility, calm under pressure, and excellent communication skills.

Troth Yeddha’ Campus, Fairbanks, Alaska. - Full‑time, non‑exempt temporary staff position.
- Salary: UA Temporary Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 77 (based on education and experience).
