ResponsibilitiesInstruct and advise undergraduate students and develop course outlines, syllabi, teaching materials, and exams as needed. Duties span across multiple campuses (Bristol Bay Campus, Chukchi Campus, Kuskokwim Campus, and Northwest Campus).

Accounting, Alaska Native Languages, Alaska Native Studies, Anthropology, Applied Art, Applied Business, Art, Automotive, Biology, Business Administration, Chemistry, Communication, Computer Information and Office Systems, Culinary Arts, Developmental Education, Early Childhood Education, Education, Emergency Medical Services, English, Fire Science, Health, History, Human Services, Journalism, Justice, Library Science, Linguistics, Mathematics, Natural Resources Management, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Recreation, Rural Development, Rural Human Services, Social Work, Tribal Management, Welding and Material Technology.
Classes may meet during the day, evening, or weekends. A flexible schedule is available.

Attention to detail is critical for maintaining accuracy in tasks such as course preparation and grading. A proactive problem‑solving approach, coupled with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment, is crucial for meeting deadlines and achieving educational outcomes. Adaptability and a willingness to learn are also important attributes, ensuring high standards of teaching quality and student engagement.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in the subject area preferred; at minimum, demonstrated experience and expertise in the identified subject areas.
- Proven teaching experience and potential for delivering high‑quality instruction to undergraduate students.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Part‑time, adjunct-represented temporary position. New hires will be placed on the adjunct salary schedule as outlined in the UNAD CBA, based on education and experience.
- Needs to be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction; visas requiring future sponsorship are not eligible.
- At‑will, union‑represented adjunct position; may be canceled based on the university’s needs.
