Overview
The Scholarship Process Improvement Coordinator supports the university’s scholarship and enrollment management efforts by leading process optimization and system coordination for UA Foundation–funded scholarships. The role works at the intersection of Financial Aid, the UA Foundation, OIT, and campus partners to ensure scholarship funds are awarded efficiently, equitably, and in alignment with donor intent and institutional priorities.
Responsibilities- Oversee scholarship lifecycle management, including fund categorization, application configuration, awarding, disbursement, and quality assurance.
- Manage applicant pools and support scholarship committees.
- Coordinate system testing and training.
- Maintain Banner and scholarship platform accuracy.
- Monitor acceptance and over‑award risks.
- Provide data‑driven recommendations to improve award rates and reduce un‑awardable funds.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Highly organized, systems‑oriented, capable of managing complex scholarship processes across multiple partners.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and detail‑orientation skills.
- Proactive, data‑driven approach to identifying risks and improving processes.
This is a full‑time, term‑funded, exempt staff position with a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. The position is on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 79, based on education and experience.
