Overview
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Community and Technical College is recruiting for a Dual Enrollment Coordinator. This position supports UAF’s Community and Technical College (CTC) and College of Indigenous Studies (CIS) in developing, coordinating, and expanding dual enrollment opportunities for Alaska high school students.
This position serves as a liaison between UAF and school districts statewide to provide meaningful access to college coursework while students are still in high school. The coordinator helps align CTC’s career and technical education pathways and CIS’s culturally responsive and place‑based programs to support student success and workforce readiness across Alaska and beyond.
To thrive in this role, you must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to work with multiple individuals within both secondary and post‑secondary education, as well as with students, families, and school partners. Your skills and experience in program coordination and development, partnership development and outreach, and supporting student success will be invaluable in your daily tasks as the Dual Enrollment Coordinator for CTC and CIS.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in education, business, public administration, Indigenous studies, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Two years of experience in education, student services, program coordination, or partnership development; or an equivalent amount of training and experience combined.
Position DetailsThis position is located on the UAF Community and Technical College campus in Fairbanks, and flexible on‑site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage.
New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience.
