Overview
The Department of Recreation, Adventure and Wellness is looking for energetic students to serve as Intramural Referees and Group Fitness Instructors at UAF Nanook Recreation located in the Student Recreation Center. Applicants will support wellness and recreation for the UAF community.
ResponsibilitiesBring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to creating a fun and inclusive environment. Be dependable, punctual, and ready to lead or support recreational activities with confidence and fairness. Stay informed on rules, safety protocols, and class formats, and seek feedback as needed.
Minimum Qualifications- CPR/1st aid certified or willing to become certified.
- Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during the fall or spring semester (current or next) and have a GPA of at least 2.0 or be a newly enrolled student.
Part‑time student position. Compensation is based on experience and the specific duties assigned. This is a pooled position and applications are reviewed as needed; submission does not guarantee a review or job offer.
