Serve as the voice for students by identifying concerns, advocating for solutions, and connecting students with campus resources. The Director of Student Advocacy works closely with the ASUAF Senate, university departments, and the student body to improve the student experience through outreach, collaboration, and advocacy. This is an excellent opportunity to build leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills while making a lasting impact at UAF.
The Director of Student Advocacy serves as a resource and advocate for the student body by helping identify, address, and elevate issues that impact the student experience. This position works closely with students, campus departments, and the ASUAF Senate to gather feedback, promote student resources, and develop initiatives that support student success. The role offers valuable experience in leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and public service while making a meaningful impact on campus.

Minimum QualificationsApplicants must be enrolled as a UA student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.
Position DetailsThis position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Fairbanks. This is a part‑time, student assistant position, starting rate of pay is $17.00 per hour.
