The successful external (non-FEA) applicant will receive a $2,000 signing bonus following the first 30 days of his/her contract.
Job SummaryPlans and provides appropriate learning experiences for students with disabilities in a variety of educational settings. Through the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, facilitates development in areas of need such as educational, social/emotional, communication, gross motor, fine motor, and adaptive.

Salary:Determined by theFEA Negotiated Agreement
Contract Length:Minimum of 184 days
Job Qualifications/Requirements (please review job description for qualifications and duties of the position):- Bachelor's degree
- Must possess or be eligible for a valid Alaska Initial, Professional, or Mastercertificatewith an endorsement in Special Education
- Working knowledge of state and federal Special Education laws
- Meet all state and federal requirements to be qualified in required content area
