Pipeline Operations Technicians - Fairbanks, AK

Doyon Energy Services, LLC is seeking Pipeline Operations Technicians in Fairbanks, Alaska. These professionals will assist with the operations, maintenance, and inspection of crude oil pipeline systems, ensuring safety and compliance. The ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to work in challenging environments, including extreme weather and emergency situations.

• Degree or certificate in Process Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience as a pipeline operator or technician (recent graduates in relevant disciplines may be considered)
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and pneumatic tools
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
• Understanding of metering, proving concepts, and computational pipeline monitoring systems
• Math and computer skills, including proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in all terrains and weather, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to respond to emergency calls and work extended hours as needed
• Must possess or obtain operator qualifications, Haz-Mat training, and meet DOT requirements
