The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Southcoast Region Construction is looking for Engineering Assistants 1/2 Flex in Haines to help us Keep Alaska Moving!

Base Salary Information:
  • Engineering Assistant 1: $33.76 / Hourly (OT Eligible)
  • Engineering Assistant 2: $38.91 / Hourly (OT Eligible)
What you will be doing:
  • Engineering Assistant 1
    On-site management of construction projects, either vertical or horizontal, to assure the contract is being constructed in accordance with plans and specifications, applicable codes and budgetary constraints.
  • Engineering Assistant 2
    ASSISTANT PROJECT ENGINEER ON MEDIUM TO LARGE, COMPLEX PROJECTS: On-site management of construction projects, either vertical or horizontal, to assure the contract is being constructed in accordance with plans and specifications, applicable codes and budgetary constraints.
    ON-SITE PROJECT ENGINEER ON SMALL, SIMPLE PROJECTS: On-site management of construction projects, either vertical or horizontal, to assure the contract is being constructed in accordance with plans and specifications, applicable codes and budgetary constraints.
