Lab Technician II

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Lab Technician II to support our power lab in Beaver, PA. Relocation assistance available. The incumbent will be responsible for performing testing on various Eaton and non‑Eaton equipment in a lab setting for internal and external customers. This is a day shift onsite role.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year, and is overtime eligible.

• A. Conduct various electrical tests in accordance with UL, CSA, IEC and NEMA standards for electrical distribution products, as required, to meet the product development and sustaining testing demands. Maintain knowledge of applicable IEC, UL, and NEMA testing standards.
• B. Record accurate test data on standardized forms for delivery to the project engineer.
• C. Assist in the repair and replacement of test fixtures and maintain an active list of test fixtures on hand to meet the demands of the engineering department.
• D. Contribute to organizing and maintaining lab 5S environment to meet goals and to ensure maximum efficiency.
• E. Assist in the development and enforcement of safety requirements.
• F. Ability to work on multiple projects at one time to increase the efficiency in the lab and provide engineering on time test results.
• G. Share knowledge with other technicians as necessary to improve technician pool’s core knowledge and capabilities.
• H. Complete additional assignments or tasks requested by manager.
• I. Conduct pre and post calibrations, run dielectric/thermal testing.
• J. Circuit configurations, and vibration testing.

Associate’s Degree in engineering or related technical field.

Minimum of 1 year.

• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Electronic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and software aptitude is required.
