This position is open to Alaskan Residents only.
This position is currently located in our Fairbanks Therapeutic Courts in the Rabinowitz Courthouse.
What you will be doingIn this postion you will be providing ongoing case management and community supervision of offenders who participate in the Fairbanks Therapeutic Courts. You will perform the initial intake/risk assessment upon initial opt-in to the therapeutic court program. You will meet with offenders/participants regularly to monitor, process, and track compliance with court-ordered requirements, conduct routine field visits, curfew checks, and alcohol and drug screenings.
Participates in court hearings and prepare written reports for all status hearings. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between the Therapeutic Court participant and professionals in the justice system and local social service agencies. Work with the Therapeutic Courts in ensuring the Therapeutic Courts’ continued adherence to the National Drug Court Institute (NDCI) standards.
This position may require Travel to other locations within the state of Alaska, as well as virtual coverage as needed.

The working environment you can expectThis postion is located in Fairbanks, Alaska. Fairbanks Therapeutic Court Office:
Conveniently located in the Rabinowitz Courthouse in Downtown Fairbanks at 101 Lacey Street, Fairbanks, Alaska 99701. It is within walking distance to the Chena River. This position is in a dynamic and rapid processing office environment.

- Compliance: Knowledge of procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring programs or projects for compliance with Federal laws, regulations, and guidance.
- Planning and Evaluating: Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes.
- Requires a Valid and Current Alaskan Driver’s License.
- Requires usage of the Alaska Public Safety Information Network (ASPIN), which includes passing a background investigation, including fingerprinting.
- May Require Travel within the State when coverage is needed in other locations.
