Grants Administrator Position
The Division of Community and Regional Affairs (DCRA) is recruiting for a flex Grants Administrator 1/2 located in Anchorage!
What you will be doing:
Our mission at DCRA is to focus on consistent community communication and collaboration. This position will make important and lasting contributions to communities in Alaska by supporting and implementing grant programs with non-profits, private agencies and government entities throughout the State of Alaska. This position will interpret, explain and apply grant related laws, regulations, or policies to grantees to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements as well as guidance to recipients on allowable costs, proper reimbursement documentation and progress reporting.

In Anchorage, the position in located on the 16th floor of the Atwood building the candidate will have wonderful views of Anchorage, as well as great downtown local dining opportunities within walking distance from the office. Covered parking in the Linny Pacillo parking garage is provided. In Fairbanks the position is located at 455 3rd Avenue, in the heart of downtown with local coffee and dining options within walking distance.

Knowledge of principles, laws, regulations, policies, practices, and guidelines (for example, Executive Orders, Code of Federal Regulations, OMB circulars) of grant or agreement programs, including their order of precedence.
Minimum Qualifications for the Grants Administrator 1 position (Range 14):
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Accounting:
Knowledge of traditional accounting practices including accrual, obligations, and costs methods. Analysis and Assessment:
Uses information technology in accessing, collecting, analyzing, maintaining, and disseminating data and information. Attention to Detail:
Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Interpersonal
Skills:
Treats others with courtesy, sensitivity, and respect. Considers and responds appropriately to the needs and feelings of different people in different situations. Reasoning:

Equivalent to those typically gained by Any combination of preparatory post-secondary education and/or experience in accounting, grants administration, budget administration, procurement, professional services contracts and/or providing administrative support to a business or organization.
Minimum Qualifications for the Grants Administrator 1 position (Range 17):
Successful completion of a formal training plan as a Grants Administrator 1 with the State of Alaska. OR Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Accounting:
