Bartlett Regional Hospital is searching for aPatient Safety Assistant to join our Nursing Administration team!
The Patient Safety Assistant (PSA) is an essential part of the healthcare team, providing compassionate and hands-on care to patients while supporting the clinical staff. Under the supervision of nurses and other healthcare providers, the PSA ensures patients' comfort, safety, and well-being during their hospital stay. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, a level of comfort interacting with a wide variety of people, as well as some solid technical proficiency.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:Preferred Education: High School diploma or equivalentPreferred Experience(s): Previous experience in a healthcare or patient care settingLicense(s): NoneCertification(s):Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
Workplace Violence Prevention Training required within 90 daysof hire.
Please note: In lieu of fringe benefits, PRN employees receive an hourly differential in addition to their hourly rate between 10% and 25% depending on position level.
Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
External Hires: This position starts at $20.47 per hour. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.
