Travel CT Technologist

Job Overview

Med Pro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Duration: 13 weeks (40 hours per week, 10‑hour shifts, days, flexible).

• At least 18 months experience as a CT Technologist in a health care setting.
• Must be certified ARRT(CT) or ASRT.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Set controls of the equipment, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and appropriately label.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, patient‑focused, and timely compassionate care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
