Senior Cloud Network Engineer

10+ Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Network SME to lead and support enterprise cloud networking initiatives across hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, Express Route/Direct Connect, migration planning, and network security architecture . This role will be responsible for designing, deploying, troubleshooting, and optimizing network infrastructure supporting cloud migration and modernization programs.

• Design and implement secure hybrid cloud connectivity solutions between on-premises data centers and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Configure and manage Express Route, AWS Direct Connect, VPN Gateways, Transit Gateways, VNET/VPC Peering, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Lead cloud migration network planning, cutovers, and transition activities.
• Design, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and load balancing services.
• Configure and maintain routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP , and advanced TCP/IP networking.
• Implement and manage enterprise firewall solutions including Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet , or similar platforms.
• Perform network security reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
• Analyze network traffic and resolve complex connectivity, latency, and performance issues.
• Support cloud-native networking services such as Azure Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, AWS Transit Gateway, Route Tables, Security Groups, and Network ACLs.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, infrastructure teams, security teams, and application owners during migration programs.
• Develop network architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
• Provide Level 3/Level 4 escalation support for critical production incidents.

Strong expertise in: TCP/IP DNS DHCP IPAM NAT VLANs Subnetting Routing & Switching SD-WAN

Cloud Networking Hands-on experience with:
Microsoft Azure Networking AWS Networking Services Hybrid Cloud Connectivity VNET/VPC Design Private Endpoints Load Balancers CDN and Edge Services

Strong knowledge of: BGP OSPF MPLS VPN Technologies Express Route AWS Direct Connect Transit Gateway

Expertise with:
Palo Alto Firewalls Check Point Fortinet Cisco Firepower Network Segmentation Zero Trust Concepts IPS/IDS

Experience supporting:
Data Center Migrations Cloud Transformation Projects Application Migration Network Cutovers Hybrid Cloud Deployments

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Cloud

Certifications:

Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) Azure Solutions Architect AWS Advanced Networking Specialty AWS Solutions Architect Networking

Certifications:

CCNP/CCIE Palo Alto PCNSE Fortinet NSE Desired Experience 10+ years of enterprise networking experience. 5+ years of cloud networking experience in Azure and/or AWS. Experience working in large-scale hybrid infrastructure environments. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting cloud migration programs and enterprise transformation initiatives.
