JOB SUMMARY

The Facility Equipment Mechanic is responsible for performing general repairs and preventative maintenance activities to utility systems, and associated equipment within process facilities and drill‑sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Maintain competency in troubleshooting facility mechanical systems which may include turbines, reciprocating gas compressors, air compressors, pumps and valves.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities on utility systems, and equipment.
  • Inspect, identify and repair/rebuild identified mechanical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Organize and work alongside installation contractors.
  • Must be competent with the use of computers for research, material ordering, writing and updating work orders.
  • Good communication and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be comfortable working as an S.P.O.C. dealing with off‑site and on‑site vendors.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and the general work area.
  • Other duties will be assigned to this position as needs require.
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support AES zero‑incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of (5) years related training and experience.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry and in the arctic environment preferred.
