JOB SUMMARYThe Chemical Delivery Driver will be responsible to load and unload skid-mounted tanks onto a demonstrator truck or operate a tanker trailer to safely receive, transport and deliver chemicals throughout Greater Prudhoe Bay. This position will also support the C-Pad Storage and Transport bulk facilities with minor maintenance and operation of day-to-day activities. The Operator reports directly to the C-Pad Storage and Transport Foreman.
ESSENTIALDUTIES
- Deliver, transfer and identify chemicals for accurate task completion.
- Receive and transfer bulk chemicals in and out of the bulk inventories at North Slope facilities.
- Follow standard operating procedures at all times.
- Complete documentation to ensure correct fluid transfers and tracking is completed.
- Read and understand SDS information.
- Computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Follow processing, issuing / receiving, delivery and mixing procedures.
- Conduct tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality and performance.
- Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure proper equipment operation.
- Monitor all chemical operations and recommend modifications and changes as required.
- Clean and maintain equipment, tools, valves, hoses and the general work area.
- Other duties will be assigned to this position as needs require.
- Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
- Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years related work experience.
- A valid Class A CDL, current tanker and hazmat endorsement, and valid DOT medical card required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification required.
