As a CWI AMO Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining complex components and equipment in compliance with engineering standards and Baker Hughes quality requirements. You will leverage your mechanical expertise and oil & gas experience to ensure high-quality execution and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Assembling complex components in accordance with assembly drawings and bills of material (BOMs)
- Performing functional testing and validation of assemblies as per customer and internal standards
- Operating and maintaining test equipment in compliance with engineering and safety standards
- Applying settings, calibrating, and maintaining assembly tools and equipment
- Performing torqueing operations on mechanical components to specified standards
- Utilizing forklifts and other departmental equipment, machines, and tools safely and effectively
- Supporting quality processes, including raising and distributing Quality Notifications (QNs)
- Ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes quality, safety, and operational procedures
- Collaborating with team members to improve efficiency, reliability, and product performance
- Demonstrating a desire to lead and support team efforts on the shop floor
- Associate degree (preferred) or equivalent technical qualification
- 1+ years of experience in assembly, maintenance, or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical or diesel mechanic background
- Prior experience in the oil & gas industry (required/ preferred)
- Demonstrate proficiency in using:
- Hand tools and power tools
- Assembly and test equipment
- Material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Good attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Rotational 21 days on / 21 days off with 12‑hour shifts.
