Pay & Benefits

  • Hourly wage $38.42–$63.35 based on experience and education
  • Incentive bonus $10,000–$15,000

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs; review history and physical; oversee timely completion of assessments.
  • Formulate a patient‑centered plan of care with realistic, measurable goals; collaborate with interdisciplinary team; revise plans as patient needs change.
  • Implement the plan of care via direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision; provide care in compliance with policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise the plan of care as needed.
  • Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; ensure documentation is legible, timely and follows policy.
  • Provide evidence‑based care and participate in research activities as appropriate; contribute to unit or facility shared leadership; mentor and precept staff.
  • Participate in improving national nursing quality indicators and outcomes; engage in professional organizations.
  • Supervise staff and workflow in some roles.

All duties performed according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements and applicable professional standards.

Qualifications
  • Current, valid RN license in the state of practice, temporary RN license or compact RN licensure.
  • Basic Life Support certification required; additional certification or continuing education may be required based on specialty area.
  • Experience in the clinical area being applied for is desired; maintain clinical performance competencies demonstrated through annual validations.
  • Experience working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a registered nurse in the specialty area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Professional certification preferred.
