At Porter Heart and Vascular Center, the RN Coordinator is essential to keeping the stress testing program running smoothly and safely. This role ensures patients are properly prepared; testing is performed efficiently, and clinical standards are consistently met. The RN Coordinator supports accurate results, timely care decisions, and a positive patient experience, making stress testing a reliable and trusted part of cardiovascular care in the clinic.

• Compensation: $38.24 – $63.35 hourly wage based on experience and education
• Retention bonus: $15,000
• Relocation assistance: up to $7,500
• Temporary housing: 90 days provided

This position coordinates, plans, and directs the daily functioning and staffing needs of the unit or department under the guidance and direction of the Clinical Services Manager. It provides leadership, positive role modeling, and critical thinking skills to facilitate staff development. The RN Coordinator serves as a liaison between all disciplines, effectively communicating, educating, and problem solving. It proactively supports the quality and continuity of services throughout the healthcare system.

• Coordinate oversight of quality, risk management, safety and nursing standards, serving as a role model and resource person for high quality patient care and clinical competency.
• Determine and direct staffing needs on a shift‑to‑shift basis, ensuring fiscally responsible staff‑to‑patient ratios.
• Coordinate, support, and facilitate continuity of care and communication between departments, institutions and across the continuum to ensure positive patient outcomes.
• Assist in oversight of staff and patient workflow, facilitate interdepartmental teamwork, and manage resource utilization for the department.
• Participate in the evaluation process by providing input.
• Contribute to professional activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes, such as participation in national nursing quality indicators and professional organizations.
• Supervise staff as required.
• Coordinate and oversee the stress testing process, ensuring proper patient preparation, monitoring, documentation, and post‑test follow‑up while maintaining compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and cardiology best practices.

Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a temporary RN license or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Professional certification preferred. Previous experience in a leadership role preferred.
