Pay & Benefits
- Compensation: $34.96 - $57.92 hourly wage based on experience and education

Full Time;
Days; 40 hr/wk; 8 hr Shifts Monday to Friday
- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs; review patient history and physical with patient/family; assure completion within appropriate timeframe.
- Review available information from other health care team members and diagnostics; report abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers.
- Complete assessment and reassessments according to patient need and policy.
- Formulate a plan of care, including the discharge plan; initiate a plan of care based on assessment data and patient/family input; set realistic, measurable goals with the patient/family.
- Consider the physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age‑specific, and educational needs of the patient; plan care collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of the health care team; provide care based on physician orders and nursing plan.
- Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record; ensure documentation is legible, timely, and complies with policy.
- Provide care based on the best evidence available; participate in research activities, unit or facility shared leadership, and education of facility personnel, patients, students, families, and visitors.
- Contribute to society through activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes; participate in the improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes; join professional organizations.
- In some roles, supervise staff and workflow of the department.
- Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, temporary RN license, or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice.
- BLS certification is required.
- Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
- Experience in the clinical area for which you are applying is desired; required to maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area through annual validations.
- Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional certification preferred.
