Job Summary
$5,000 Retention Bonus. The Denali Center is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide nursing care in a loving, compassionate environment where residents and staff are encouraged to learn and grow. Your nursing care will be under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and/or licensed physician, and you will be accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by yourself or by others under your direction.
You will observe, contribute to the plan of care, implement, report, and document patient care in accordance with department policies, state scope of practice, and the standard of care.
Fairbanks Denali Center is located next to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. It is a 90‑bed comprehensive short‑ and long‑term care facility that offers uniquely compassionate care to adult residents. Pay& Benefits
- Hourly wage $25.88 to $40.44, based on experience and education

$2.00/hr weekend: $2.50/hr evening: $6.00/hr night: $2.00/hr.
Key Responsibilities- Observe, compile, and report the patient's physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs; review information obtained by healthcare team members.
- Contribute to the plan of care under the RN’s direction, including the discharge plan; consider all relevant needs and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Implement care based on delegated interventions and medical orders within scope of practice; document objectives, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
- Report changes in patient condition and progress toward goals to the RN and/or physician; observe patient responses and effectiveness of teaching.
- Maintain, update, and revise documentation per federal, state, and regulatory guidelines; conduct audits and present summary information for management review.
- Coordinate admission processes, including resident evaluations; communicate verbally and in writing with residents, families, referral sources, insurance companies, and clinical staff.
- Provide all customers of Foundation Health with excellent service by demonstrating core and leader behaviors consistently.
- Current, valid LPN or LVN license in the state of practice (or temporary/compact license).
- BLS certification (additional certifications or continuing education may be required).
- Completion of a state‑approved IV therapy program may be required in certain facilities or departments.
Experience in a designated clinical area is preferred.
Additional Education or Experience PreferredAdditional related education and/or experience is preferred.
