Overview

Leidos QTC Medical Services, Inc., operating under the brand name Leidos QTC Health Services, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner at our Fairbanks, AK clinic to help ensure our service members receive high-quality care. You will play a key role in the ongoing care of these service members and veterans.

• Conduct general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations including reviewing medical history and associated records, interpreting clinical data, and completing written reports and independent medical opinions (IMO).
• Perform examinations in person (clinic setting), at the examinee s home, telephonically, at large event settings for the Reserve Health Readiness Program, or via telehealth platforms.
• Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) and provide primary medical evaluations as needed (e.g., review of systems, range of motion, pap smear).
• Document examinee records in appropriate systems and collaborate with other professional and clinical staff to determine the most effective, evidence-based path forward for the examinee population.

• Travel up to 30% nationally to provide physical examinations for veterans and service members; all travel expenses are covered and a per diem is provided.
• Generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with weekend/evening schedules based on operational needs.
• Onboarding and training program with progressive encounter complexity as skills develop; fully staffed clinic to support operations.

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
• Current national licensing with ANCC or AANP.
• Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care/internal medicine experience.
• Unrestricted state medical licensure to perform full scope of practice in the state of hire; ability to obtain DEA license.
• Valid BLS or ACLS certification.
• Ability to earn and maintain required clinical trainings/certifications; ability to obtain and maintain government clearances as required.
• Must possess a REAL
  -compliant identification or equivalent TSA-approved identification prior to start date.
• Ability to pass medical clearances and vaccinations as required (e.g., N95 fit test, TB test, Hepatitis A/B vaccination or titer).

• Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations.
