Overview

Lux Travel Nurse is seeking a travel nurse RN OR
- Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Fairbanks, Alaska. Specialty: OR
- Operating Room. Discipline: RN. Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week.

Shift: 12 hours, days.

Employment Type:

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Surgery Center. Housing Provided, $500 Travel Assistance.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver high-quality patient care throughout the surgical journey, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative services.
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate significant changes to providers and surgical team members.
  • Coordinate discharge planning and patient education to support successful recovery.
  • Administer medications and provide care according to established standards and clinical guidelines.
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Participate in sterile processing activities and pre/post-surgical patient follow-up calls.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
What We're Looking For
  • Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain within three months of hire).
  • Minimum of three years of experience working independently in the Operating Room and/or PACU.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screening.
