American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 16-week night shift contract requiring an active AK RN license and ACLS/BLS certification.

• ICU/CCU unit setting in a hospital recognized with the AACN Gold Beacon Award
• Night shift schedule with 3 12-hour shifts per week
• 3 weekend shifts required per schedule period
• Floating required during slow periods to work as a functional nurse
• On-call not mandatory but considered helpful
• Holiday coverage required

• Active AK RN license required prior to start, with application permitted after offer acceptance
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required; 5+ years preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Provide direct patient care within a Gold Beacon-awarded ICU/CCU unit
• Free private 1-bedroom housing available for 1 occupant, no pets allowed
• Optional housing allowance available for candidates arranging their own housing in the Fairbanks area
• A vehicle is recommended for transportation due to winter weather conditions
• Candidates will be required to mail fingerprints to the Alaska Department of Health and Services within 48 hours of offer acceptance
