Paint Specialist – Overview

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an enthusiastic and hard‑working Paint Specialist to join our rapidly growing team of Auto Parts professionals. This is the ideal position for knowledgeable and energetic people who have a passion for customer care and teamwork. As a NAPA Paint Specialist you play an important role on the store team.

• Mix paint with precision.
• Assist customers with auto body and finish questions.
• Educate on auto part features, benefits and warranty information.
• Support team members in our fast‑paced retail stores.
• Operate a cash register and navigate computer or paper catalog systems.

• Paint or body shop experience mandatory.
• Strong automotive knowledge and/or experience mandatory.
• ASE (P2) Parts Certification is preferred.
• Positive attitude with commitment to delivering customer care mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication mandatory.
• Self‑motivated to learn and train mandatory.
• Must thrive in busy, fast‑paced retail environments mandatory.
• Knowledge of cataloging or inventory management systems is preferred.
• Must work weekends mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation mandatory.
