Normal Work Hours and Days: A normal work day consists of 10-12 hours possibly longer depending on workload. Hours and start time will vary depending on workload. Night shift work required as needed.

SummaryThe Oiler/Fueler is responsible for lubricating, performing safety checks, and monitoring fluid levels on trucks, equipment, and machinery used on construction projects.
Essential Functions- Service Engine, drivetrain, hydraulic and cooling system on heavy duty equipment and vehicles.
- Monitor fluid levels on all vehicles and equipment.
- Service all hydraulics, moving parts and air filtration systems of equipment.
- Perform visual inspection of equipment to look for malfunctions.
- Service hoses and checks for wear and tear for replacement.
- Clean, lube and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Clean and maintain equipment, tools and general work areas.
- Inspect and evaluate incoming equipment and machines and determine malfunctions and defects.
- Fuel and inspect equipment.
- Maintain routine equipment maintenance schedule.
- Maintain detailed records of all equipment/machine repairs, services, adjustments and work performed (e.g., time sheets, fuel logs, and service sheets).
- May have to operate equipment to perform maintenance.
- Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored.
- Help identify hazardous conditions on the job site and with equipment.
- Ensure adherence to company and customer safe work practices and procedures.
- Load and unload various equipment and machines from or to delivery truck.
- Planning work, producing parts lists.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and preferably able to perform other tasks satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Education and/or ExperienceMinimum:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid driver license.
- Familiarity with repair and maintenance of construction equipment, machinery and tools.
- Three years of job related experience with CAT Loaders, Dozers, graders, Volvo Rock Trucks, Hitachi Excavators and various other construction equipment.
- Must have own tools required to repair and maintain heavy equipment.
- Cat 777F Experience.
- Class A CDL.
- OSHA 10‑hour Training.
- MSHA certification.
- Knowledge and ability to use various construction equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of proper lubrication of heavy equipment and hydraulics.
- Ability to read and follow assembly and instruction manuals.
- Knowledge of and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of and ability to repair equipment and follow related procedures.
- Ability to assess and troubleshoot equipment failure.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Must be qualified to drive lube truck with knowledge of lube pumps, reels, and types of oils, filters and mechanical knowledge of all types of equipment.
- Ability to see and record written data and information.
- Ability to communicate information in writing so others will understand.
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally with others.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
