Overview
Maritime Helicopters, Inc. is seeking A&P Certified Aircraft Maintenance Technicians with helicopter experience. Positions are primarily Mon–Fri hangar work in Fairbanks, Alaska, with some field work in the summer at other locations. Field work comes with additional overtime pay of 2 hours per day, regardless of actual hours worked on aircraft. Occasional weekends (paid as OT) and overtime beyond 8 hours during hangar operations.
Compensationand Benefits
Hourly pay rates and benefits are competitive and depend on experience. Medical, dental, 401(k), and airline discounts up to 90% are provided.
Training and Additional Support- Initial airline travel to Alaska.
- Company housing for 90 days.
- Limited use of a company vehicle for 90 days.
- Factory and manufacturer training:
Bell company specific training for 206, 407, 412 and Eurocopter BO-105;
Rolls-Royce engine turbine training; FADAC training (some on-the-job training); occasional on-site training by factory representatives. - MHI-sponsored OAS (Office of Aviation Services) carding required after meeting minimum time on type; requirement for certain government contracts including firefighting.
- Factory school (Bell Factory in Dallas, Texas) with longer-term commitments once proficient in field maintenance.
