JOB SUMMARYThe Equipment Operator is responsible for operating construction and maintenance equipment including facilitating material handling to job-sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIESReview blueprints, schematic drawings, and job specifications to determine equipment requirements for assigned work.
Operate construction and maintenance equipment such as bobcats, loaders, 325-barrel vacuum trailers and 100-barrel vacuum trucks, diesel tankers, winch trucks, bed trucks, flatbed trailers, super suckers, boom trucks, pickups, trucks, tractors, and other light-duty equipment to facilitate material handling to the jobsite.
Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on equipment, including oil changes and lubrication.
Prepare, update, and maintain logs, records, and equipment maintenance schedules.
Monitor equipment operation and identify malfunctions.
Inspect, adjust, and perform minor equipment repairs.
Prepare and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
Clean, store, and maintain equipment as required.
Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
High school diploma or GED
A minimum of three (3) years of related experience and training is required.
