Heavy Duty Mechanics - FIFO

Heavy Duty Mechanics are needed for Cruz Construction, Inc. in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This role involves repairing, adjusting, servicing, and maintaining equipment and machinery used on construction projects. Candidates will work in challenging arctic conditions and must be able to perform strenuous manual labor. The ideal candidate is experienced with construction equipment maintenance and is safety-conscious.

- Familiarity with repair and maintenance of construction equipment, machinery and tools
- One year of job related experience
- Valid state driver license
- Ability to perform strenuous manual labor and lift up to 100 lbs
- Ability to work in inclement weather and arctic temperatures
- Ability to read and follow assembly and instruction manuals
- Knowledge of and ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Ability to assess and troubleshoot equipment failure
- Ability to wear protective clothing
- Two years vocational training in construction maintenance or equivalent work experience (preferred)
