Summary: The Oiler/Fueler is responsible for lubricating, performing safety check, and monitoring fluid levels on trucks, equipment and machinery used on construction projects.
Essential Functions:
- Service Engine, drivetrain, hydraulic and cooling system on heavy duty equipment and vehicles.
- Monitor fluid levels on all vehicles and equipment.
- S e rvicing all hydrauli c s, moving par t s and air f i l t r ation s y stems of eq u i p ment.
- Per f orm vi s ual inspect i on of eq u ip m ent t o lo o k f or malfuncti ons
- S e rvice h o ses and checks for w e ar and t ear for r ep l acement.
- Clean, lube and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Clean and Maintain Equipment, tools and general work areas.
- Inspect and evaluate incoming equipment and machines and determine malfunctions and defects.
- Fuel and Inspect Equipment
- Maintain routine equipment maintenance schedule.
- Maintain d etai l ed re c ords of all equ i pment / machine r ep a irs, services, adjustments and work performed, (e.g. time s he e ts, f uel logs, and service sheets )
- May have to operate equ i pment to perform maintenance
- Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored
- Help identify hazardous conditions on the job site and with equipment.
- Ensure adherence to company and customers safe work practices and procedures.
Other Tasks:
- Load and unload various equipment and machines from or to delivery truck.
- P l anni n g w ork, produ c i n g parts l i sts.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and preferably able to perform other tasks satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Education and/or
Experience:
Minimum:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid driver license
- Familiarity with repair and maintenance of construction equipment, machinery and tools.
- Three years of job related experience with CAT Loaders, Dozers, graders, Volvo Rock Trucks, Hitachi Excavators and Various other Construction Equipment
- Must have own tools required to repair and maintain heavy equipment
Preferred:
- Cat 777F Experience
- Class A CDL
- OSHA 10hr. Training
- MSHA certification
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of and ability to use various construction equipment and tools.
- K n owledge of proper l ubricat i on of he a vy equi p ment a nd hydrau l ics.
- Ability to read and follow assembly and instruction manuals.
- Knowledge of and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of and ability repair equipment and follow related procedures.
