Truck Driver

About the Position

The CDL Driver position in our Fairbanks, Alaska location serves as an interface with our valuable customers. The primary responsibilities of this role require friendly, helpful, and expeditious customer service to our VIP customers. As a driver of a box style straight truck, you will be responsible for all aspects of loading, securing, and delivering freight onto the vehicle; delivering freight safely and in a timely manner;

performing vehicle inspections for load and road safety according to company policy; maintaining the company vehicle log and facilitating required maintenance; following all company safety policies along with OSHA and AKOSH regulations; and following relevant AKDOT regulations and other duties as assigned. Ability to drive a Standard transmission is required. We have thousands of parts for our many pieces of machinery and it is essential that our warehouse employees safely ship and receive parts orders ensuring accuracy in each order and to the expectations of our customers.

Provide excellent customer service to VIP customers. Load, secure, and deliver freight. Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain logs. Follow safety policies and regulations. Work collaboratively with parts counter staff to expedite parts orders.

Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL

B) with 2‑years of CDL driving experience. Ability to drive a standard transmission. Manual lifting ability up to 50 pounds and forklift experience. Ability to stand, climb on and off a truck, walk, and pick parts for an 8‑hour day. High school diploma or equivalent plus prior warehouse or customer service experience. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Salary range starts at $32.35 per hour. Hourly offered based on skills and experience.
