The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Fairbanks International Airport Airfield Maintenance section, is looking for a Seasonal 'Equipment Operator - Journey 2' to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
What you will be doing:In this role, you will provide vital support by operating heavy equipment to keep airport runways, taxiways, and roads clear and safe, especially during winter conditions. As an important part of our Airfield Maintenance team you’ll perform pavement and facility maintenance, support construction projects, and respond to emergencies to ensure Fairbanks International Airport remains fully operational and compliant with FAA standards.
This is a full-time seasonal position the runs from early fall to late winter to assist with winter conditions.
