Warehouse Specialist II role with Winn Companies on the military housing team at Fort Wainwright, AK
.

This position is located at a federal facility. In accordance with the REAL , a REAL  driver’s license/ required to access the facility.

• Purchase equipment materials, supplies, and tools using electronic purchasing system to generate purchase orders and place orders directly with vendors and suppliers.
• Utilize system reorder function to properly order quantities of products needed. Utilize Yardi management system to manage, issue, and order all inventory and equipment as per guidelines.
• Ensure that warehouse(s) are properly stocked and inventory levels are maintained in accordance with the current maintenance activities of the project.
• Ensure that company policies are followed for purchasing, receiving and stocking materials.
• May be responsible for special order purchases.
• Support providing supplies to technicians and employees for maintenance activities by issuing equipment materials, supplies and tools physically and electronically.
• Maintain the warehouse by physically and electronically stocking materials, supplies, and tools efficiently.
• Ensure safe, clean, and tidy warehouse and maintenance facilities and comply with proper safety and environmental policies for storage and reporting requirements (including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all materials).
• Maintain tool and equipment logs for all project-owned tools.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in working order.
• Inform Maintenance Manager or Director of Maintenance of tool and equipment requirements.
• Support regular warehouse and vehicle inventories in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain refuse and recycling collections for maintenance operations.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to utilize a mobile device effectively.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.

• Vocational or technical training.
• Direct experience in purchasing and warehouse management.
