Athletics Student Statistician

Essential Duties- Record statistics as events happen
- Audit stats with play‑by‑play
- Prepare final stats for league records
- Serve as official scorekeeper for both teams
- Enter computer data
- Prepare final and mid‑game summary reports for the media
- Stay up to date on changes in statistical scoring rules
- Participate in resolution of disputed calls
- Basic understanding of each specific sport
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Good observation skills
- Minimal training or prior knowledge of work required
