Summary/Objective
Primary job responsibility is toimplementbehavioral health and educational services using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysiswithindividuals diagnosedwith autism, related mental health disorders and/or intellectual disabilities in either a 1:1, 1:2 or small group setting.
Receive supervision and trainingfrombehavior analytic and/orbehavioralhealthsupervisors throughdirectobservationand team meetings.
This is afull-time,hourly position.

- Deliverinstructionand assessmentsfollowing procedures learned frominitialand ongoing training sessions and based on feedback given from supervisors.
- Implement skills acquisition and behaviormodificationplansas provided duringinitialtraining and from ongoing training and feedback from supervisors.
- Implement behavioral health treatment byprovidingintensive services based off the individual’sbehavioralhealth needs including, but not limitedto:skills development, problem solving, conflict resolution, emotions/behavior management, developing positive coping mechanisms, and managing symptoms to enhance vocations/school opportunities and/or independent living.
- Implement crisis interventions as needed and when approved.
- Collect and analyze data and records of service accurately following
Boundlessprocedures. - Organize, prepare teaching and treatmentmaterialsandmaintainclean instructionalarea.
- Maintain designatedindividual’s data collection methods, documents,records and materials related to treatment and educational plans.
Assistin monitoring goal progression.
Identifiesanddocumentwhen interventions are needed for specific goals due to lack of progression. - Assistinmaintainingfiles for compliance in accordance with applicable local,stateand federal standards; report unusual incidents and communicate unusual medical situations as required.
- Perform first aid as trained and designated.
- Complete treatment and education review for designatedindividualas assigned.
- Attend andparticipatein all treatment and educational team meetings, program meetings and Staff Development Days.
- Seek,receive and apply feedback appropriatelyandprofessionally,and work towards goals developedwithsupervisors.
- Communicate byboth hearing and speaking in a professional manner with coworkers, outside professionals,and parents,and use professional language when describing theindividualand/or behaviors.
- Dressappropriately and arrive on time for work.
- Participate in fundraising activities through distribution of materials and information.
- Responsible for reading and following the employee handbook andall
Boundlesspoliciesand procedures. - Responsible for completing and following alltrainingsassigned.
- Within
60 daysof hire, successful completion of the required physical crisis management training(s) and certification(s) applicable to the assigned program. - May occasionally transport clients in Boundless vehicle.
- All other assigned duties.
- High School diploma or equivalent,plus3 years ormoreyears of experience in thebehavioralhealth, human services, or mental health field.
- Preferred College Degreeineducation, psychology, social work, or arelated field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain
First Aid, CPR - adult,childand infant(training will beprovidedif not already certified)
- One to two (1-2) years of experience working directly with children and families.
- Experience working with people with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities.
- Experience working with people with behavioral health conditions.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance.
- No more than 5 points on license.
- Must be able to function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with individuals, staff, and support agencies.
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset, and at times hostile clients/family members.
- Mustpossessthe ability to make independent decisions when circumstanceswarrantsuch action.
