Wagner Subaru is seeking a New Vehicle Sales Manager & Leadership Development Coach to lead, develop, and elevate a high-performing new vehicle sales team.
This is an opportunity for a process-driven, people-focused leader who wants to build a stronger team, improve customer outcomes, grow market share, and develop future dealership leaders.
The ideal candidate combines sales management discipline with coaching, recruiting, accountability, operational improvement, and change leadership.

In this role, you will be expected to:- Lead and coach the new vehicle sales team to consistent performance.
- Build documented processes that improve accountability, customer experience, and sales execution.
- Recruit, train, retain, and develop future leaders within the dealership.
- Use CRM, inventory, customer retention, and performance scoreboards to drive measurable results.
- Lead change professionally while building team buy-in and long-term ownership.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, coach, and retain sales professionals.
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching, training, role-play, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Identify high-potential employees and build a bench of future managers, trainers, and mentors.
- Lead new initiatives by communicating the reason for change, setting clear standards, and managing resistance professionally.
- Improve sales, CRM, follow-up, appointment-setting, and customer communication processes.
- Drive adoption of new standards through coaching, accountability, reporting, and follow-through.
- Develop, maintain, train, and enforce written sales department procedures.
- Improve Road to the Sale execution, lead handling, delivery, follow-up, and customer retention processes.
- Support dealership and manufacturer standards through consistent documentation, training, and accountability.
- Maintain an active recruiting pipeline inside and outside the automotive industry.
- Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, support onboarding, and build referral and community recruiting relationships.
- Maintain staffing levels needed to achieve sales, service, and customer experience goals.

- Supporting internal promotions whenever possible
- Achieve monthly sales objectives while improving sales efficiency, closing percentage, appointment show rate, and customer retention.
- Manage showroom opportunities, Save-A-Deal routines, salesperson performance, and service-to-sales conversion opportunities.
- Use daily coaching, visible scoreboards, and disciplined follow-up to improve results without sacrificing customer experience.
- Monitor lead response times, CRM activity, follow-up quality, and opportunity management daily.
- Review phone, internet, and showroom performance to identify coaching opportunities.
