Shift Information:
- Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or 7+ years of relevant purchasing experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within heavy fabrication, foundry, or machining industries
General Requirements:
- Professional certifications in purchasing or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CMP) preferred
- Project Management certifications are a plus
- Strong background in supply chain management and manufacturing operations
- Strategic thinker with excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and optimize resources
Essential Functions:
- Deliver timely, accurate quotes to support the applications team with equipment and rebuild projects
- Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure on-time, complete deliveries; report back-ordered or missing items and expedite as needed
- Collaborate with Project Management and Master Scheduling to maintain project timelines through on-time product delivery
- Engage with stakeholders to address needs, communicate issues promptly, and resolve concerns with urgency
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new suppliers while maintaining cost expectations
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Embrace and consistently apply current cultural development initiatives
Travel:
- Flexibility to work outside standard office hours and travel up to 20%, sometimes on short notice
