Test Engineer
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the day to day support, scaling, and collaborating in test and operations strategy to deliver high quality, repeatable test processes will evaluate the tools and procedures to properly implement complex product testing at volume manufacturing. You will collaborate with the test engineering development teams, along with hardware engineering and quality teams to determine test requirements, identify coverage gaps, and explore opportunities for process and system improvements.
You will help drive the strategy, approaches, and work with the operations team responsible for testing some of the world's most advanced infrastructure for compute, accelerators, networking, power, cooling and monitoring systems.
Responsibilities:
- Support test software and automated testing. Manage the deployment/ongoing support of test fixtures, test software, and integration into the manufacturing flow.
- Develop appropriate factory training processes, and drive team performance metrics. Improve factory test methods and instructions, maximizing efficiencies with factory tooling design and implementation.
- Help scale the deployment of associated initiatives by identifying and isolating manufacturing defects prior to deployment.
- Work with medium to high complexity tests developed in Python. Participate in code reviews, test system designs, and drive debugging both test system and product failures in our manufacturing environment.
Minimum qualifications:
- AA Degree in Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Fluent with Linux tools, computer products, and electrical product manufacturing.
- Experience with configuration of networking equipment such as routers, switches and optical/electrical interconnect systems.
- Basic understanding of networking technology, and computing systems.
- Great communication skills
- Management experience
- 1 year of experience in working in manufacturing environments.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing test development or product validation test development
- Experience with basic software development in any language, and use of version control tools, and bug tracking systems
