• Operate tunnel washer systems to wash and dry soil linen according to customer specifications and Crown Linen practices.
• Operate the future-rail system and use tunnels, presses, shuttles, conveyors, and dryers as required.
• Operate computer systems that control tunnel washers and shuttle systems, including troubleshooting issues.
• Identify and match linen types to customer account codes to minimize processing errors.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation, including tunnels, presses, MLA’s, and the surrounding area.
• Prepare laundry for processing across multiple areas: multi-sort/trans-sort, tunnels/dryers, future-rail, and MLA.
• Operate MLA systems for manual entry of soiled laundry when required.
• Open bundles of soiled laundry push bags as required to maintain workflow in other production areas.
• Maintain tunnel performance (transfers) according to Crown Linen standards.
• Report all mechanical issues to management and maintenance.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

• Minimum of 1 year laundry experience, or a combination of computer education and experience.
• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy level.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Intermediate English communication skills to comprehend oral and/or written instructions.
• Strong analytical skills to understand production flow requirements.
• Ability to work at a fast pace.
• Ability to work with little supervision.

• Exposure to extreme cold below 32 F or extreme heat above 100 F as needed.
• Frequent noise requiring hearing protection.
• Vibration from machinery.
