About the Role:

The Material Processor III is responsible for preparing, handling, and processing textile materials used in manufacturing operations. This role works with large-format fabrics and materials, ensuring they are accurately measured, cut, prepared, and staged for production. The Material Processor III operates specialized equipment used to process, seal, and prepare materials while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle large-format textile materials and fabric rolls throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Measure, mark, and cut fabric according to production specifications and work orders.
  • Prepare, organize, and stage fabric for sewing, assembly, and finishing operations.
  • Hold, position, and maneuver large fabric panels during processing and production activities.
  • Operate fabric sealing, bonding, heat-sealing, or related production equipment.
  • Inspect materials for defects, damage, or quality concerns prior to production.
  • Verify dimensions, material type, and specifications to ensure product accuracy.
  • Assist sewing operators by ensuring materials are properly prepared and readily available.
  • Complete required production documentation accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment and material issues and report concerns to supervision.
  • Meet established productivity, efficiency, and quality expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, textile production, fabric processing, or a related environment preferred.
  • Experience working with large-format materials and fabric handling.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, measurements, and production specifications.
  • Ability to accurately measure and cut materials.
  • Experience operating production equipment and machinery.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift, pull, bend, and move materials as needed.
  • Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation, material handling, and equipment adjustments.
