Electro-Mechanical Tech Level IV
The Electro-Mechanical Tech Level IV is responsible for day-to-day fault resolution, equipment troubleshooting, preventative/predictive maintenance, and systems operations. Provides assistance and mentors lower-level employees. Acts as senior automation technician on shift for pallet and packaging conveyors, SRM cranes, Dematic multi-shuttle, AGV and AMR. Also works on other ancillary equipment installed at our Fairburn, Georgia location.
ScheduleWork days are Monday and Tuesday 5pm to 5am. Wednesday 5pm to 11pm. Alternating Saturday and Sunday 5pm to 5am. Overtime is required.

Base Pay RangeThe base pay range for this role is estimated to be $36.50 to $39.50 per hour at the time of posting.
Responsibilities- System monitoring and fault recovery, including repair and maintenance of automated material handling equipment such as AGVs, AMRs, conveyors, and other AMHE as directed.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
- Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
- Create and close work orders in the asset‑management system with appropriate data including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
- Troubleshoot conveyance problems and determine resources needed to resolve them.
- Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
- Perform complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Assist in training customers to operate equipment.
- Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
- Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or vocational technical training preferred.
- Specialized skill training or certification preferred.
- Senior‑level knowledge of a technical or specialty area.
- Proven experience in the area of responsibility and successful demonstration of the tasks described above.
- Ability to communicate customer‑facing and professional communications through email and in person with onsite customer leadership, Dematic leadership, and technicians.
- Experience leading projects, teams, and directing day‑to‑day operations and tasks to onsite maintenance team.
- Physical requirements:
lift and move material up to 50lb, cause bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head, push and pull wheeled dollies up to 100lb, climb ladders and gangways safely. - Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces.
