The City of Fairburn is seeking an entry level Meter Reader to locate, read, and record water consumption across residential, commercial, industrial, and other meter types. Reports to the Water & Sewer Superintendent and requires a strong customer service mindset for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities include reading meters, using AMR systems, and updating records while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing data and service coordination.
