Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end‑to‑end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. We are seeking a Logistics Operations Manager. The manager monitors all operations including but not limited to: process shipments, prepare paperwork, communicate freight status and dispatch drivers for pickup. The supervisor will be the primary interface between Pilot Freight Services, customers, sales, system operations and vendors and provide quality customer service while meeting company policies and procedures.

• Responsible for ongoing process analysis of operational systems, procedures and staffing to drive continuous improvement in operating efficiencies. Assist District Manager with general tasks.
• Cycle counting.
• Excel required.
• Responsible for ensuring safe operations as well as compliance with all OSHA regulations, all applicable laws, and Pilot’s Corporate Policies.
• Effectively train, supervise, coach and evaluate all direct reports to foster good communication and morale.
• Review operational key performance measures monthly as well as benchmark data to drive any required corrective or improvement strategies.
• Communicate freight status and any problems to customers, vendors and other Pilot stations and personnel.
• Freight handling via forklift.
• Load/Off‑load build trucks for optimal routing.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Customer service background preferred.
• Ability to read key elements of financial statements in support of functional role responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of systems utilized as related to logistics.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

$75,000 to $80,000 per year

Monday – Friday

7:00 am to 4:30 pm

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
