Warehouse Material Handler – Fairburn, Georgia (Full-time)
Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler to join our supply chain team in Fairburn, Georgia. The position pays $19.50 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential, paid weekly. On-the-job paid training is provided. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) benefits start after 30 days, and paid time off is included. Safety gear is provided. Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- One year or more of warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
- Valid forklift operator’s license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse work environment
- Meticulous, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record
- High initiative, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure
- Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to health and safety methods and flexible shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Accurately pick, pack, audit, stage products, and load/unload trucks
- Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
- Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core production hours
- Complete other duties as assigned while meeting performance measurement guidelines
