FTS is working with a real estate firm in Virginia who is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. Ideally coming from a background in property management, construction, or manufacturing - and ideally an active CPA or CPA track candidate. If the below sounds like you, please apply today!
Job Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day journal entries to record General Ledger and Job Cost activities
- Prepare check requests and wire requests, as needed
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Handle cash projections and reconciliations
- Work with banks on compliance reporting
- Produce appropriate financial reports in a timely manner
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- 2+ years of experience
- Working in large accounting systems; ideally cloud based.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
