Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and ambitious Tax Manager to join our firm. The role offers a clear path toward partnership, with responsibilities that span full engagement management, client relationship building, and strategic leadership within the tax department.

- Facilitate client engagements and manage client relationships, including billing and collections.
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients.
- Sign tax returns.
- Develop, train, and lead junior staff through detailed review and analysis of their work while monitoring key performance metrics.
- Schedule and manage workloads of direct reports to promote efficiency and profitability.
- Contribute to strategic planning and direction of the tax department.
- Engage in business development to grow the client base and expand services.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments, updating practices as needed.
- Provide leadership in a specialization area, including serving on a tax committee.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA or Enrollment Agent certification with a minimum of five years of public accounting experience.
- Experience conceptualizing, developing, and monitoring tax preparation workflows.
- Strong knowledge of tax law and professional standards/regulations.
- Experience preparing and reviewing complex returns for various entities, high‑wealth individuals, consolidated, multi‑state, and non‑profits.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Additional professional designations or certifications in specialized areas of taxation preferred.
