Assignment Type: Permanent Hire
Compensation: $200,000–$230,000 annually
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).
- Direct all accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and month-end close.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure financial reports are accurate, complete, and delivered to executive leadership on schedule.
- Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities.
- Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance activities.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and other financial service providers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Partner with financial planning and operational leadership on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, working capital management, banking relationships, and debt compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, financial systems, reporting processes, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Active Certified Public Accountant certification required.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- At least five years of experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or comparable senior accounting leadership position.
