DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior – Assurance professional to join our team. This position plays a key role in leading and executing assurance engagements while providing excellent client service, supporting team development, and ensuring engagements are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day assurance engagements, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and completion.
- Apply GAAS, GAAP, and firm methodology when performing and reviewing audit procedures.
- Review work papers, financial statements, disclosures, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate risks, research technical accounting and auditing issues, and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and provide practical recommendations to improve processes, controls, and financial reporting.
- Supervise and mentor staff, provide on-the-job training and feedback, and review team members' work.
- Coordinate engagement staffing, assignments, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Work closely with managers and partners to resolve engagement issues and manage risk.
- Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, WIP, and billing to help ensure profitable, on-time delivery.
- Utilize firm technology, data analytics, and approved AI-assisted tools to improve audit quality and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients and participate in practice development activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent; eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
- 1 year of experience with a CPA OR 2 years of relevant experience without CPA.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAS, GAAP, and applicable professional standards and regulations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with audit software and data analytics tools.
Education and Experience
- Active CPA license.
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience in the firm’s key industries and with data analytics/AI-assisted audit tools.
- Prefer audit experience with hospitality and employee benefits plans
This position may require travel depending on client assignments and overtime during peak periods. The salary range for this position is $67,000-$87,600.
