Job Announcement
The assigned functional area is office administration.
Under general supervision, provide the results of criminal history searches to the requesting magistrate, probation staff, police department order or other official criminal justice agency.
Maintain accurate file systems and update defendant records as required by the agency.
Verify the results of completed pretrial defendant questionnaires for content and accuracy via telephone.
Provide case entry and retrieval for general district court, probation and court‑appointed attorney assignments.
Review warrants and prepare other court case documents for pick‑up and processing.
Schedule- Rotation Week 1 – Monday – Thursday 8:30 pm – 6:30 am
- Rotation Week 2 – Sunday – Wednesday 10:30 am – 8:30 pm
- Rotation Week 3 – Thursday – Saturday 10:30 am – 8:30 pm and Sunday 8:30 pm – 6:30 am
Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to high school graduation and one year of experience providing administrative support in the assigned functional area(s).
Certificates and Licenses RequiredVCIN Certification (Required within 6 months)
NecessarySpecial Requirements
The appointee will be required to complete a criminal background check to the satisfaction of the employer.
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge and experience of general office administration procedures and record/file management.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office computer software, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge and experience with databases.
- The ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
- The ability to access, input and retrieve information from a computer.
- All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
Panel interview and may include a practical exercise.
